The Neochori Cultural Centre will be where the seminars and workshops of PSL 6 will take place.
The building in which the cultural center is housed was built in the early 20th century, based on the architectural designs for local schools of the time. It was a boys' school until the early 1980s. After it closed, the building was reused as an educational and cultural center. Extensively renovated in 2010, the center reopened in 2022, hosting the first exhibition of a CERN experiment, sponsored by the Municipal Authority of South Pelion, the University of Thessaly and the Nuclear Research Centre. Τhe venue consists of a 150 sq.m. hall, including a stage area. Ιt also has a large courtyard, which is used for events such as theatrical performances and concerts.
We hope that this year's building will provide a warm, inspirational atmosphere in which we will all feel comfortable to spend our days, brainstorm and exchange knowledge and ideas. The building is accessible for people with disabilities.
